Brendan Bottcher Forms New Curling Team with Olympic Medalists

Olympic Champions Join Forces with Renowned Skip

Edmonton, Alberta – April 18, 2022

Renowned skip Brendan Bottcher is poised to lead a formidable new curling team in the upcoming season, featuring two Olympic medalists among its ranks. Aiming to capture another podium finish, Bottcher has assembled a talented squad with a proven track record of success.

The team includes Rachel Homan, who earned a bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics and a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships. Joining Homan is Emma Miskew, who claimed a silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships.

With Bottcher's leadership and the exceptional skills of Homan and Miskew, the new team is expected to make a significant impact on the curling circuit. The team is currently engaged in training and preparing for a busy season ahead.

Bottcher previously led a Calgary-based team that captured bronze at the 2022 Winter Olympics. However, following a strategic decision, he decided to part ways with his former teammates and form a new squad with different perspectives and goals.

The curling community is eagerly anticipating the debut of Bottcher's new team, which is expected to challenge for top honors in the upcoming season. The team's chemistry and determination will be key factors in their quest for success on the ice.
