Crawford Demolishes Spence to Become Undisputed Welterweight Champion

Crawford Dominated from Start to Finish

Spence No Match for Crawford's Superior Skill and Power

In a highly anticipated showdown that lived up to its billing, Terence "Bud" Crawford proved to be a class above Errol Spence Jr., dismantling the previously undefeated fighter via ninth-round technical knockout on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Crawford, already a three-belt welterweight champion, started the fight aggressively, landing some heavy punches that visibly stunned Spence. Spence, known for his own power, tried to rally back, but Crawford was simply too quick and elusive.

As the fight progressed, Crawford continued to dominate, picking Spence apart with his superior boxing skills and landing a devastating body shot in the eighth round. In the ninth round, Crawford unleashed a flurry of punches that sent Spence to the canvas. Despite Spence's attempts to get back up, referee Howard Foster mercifully stopped the fight.

With the victory, Crawford becomes the first undisputed welterweight champion since the four-belt era began in 2006. The win also cements Crawford's status as one of the greatest pound-for-pound boxers in the world.

Spence, who suffered his first professional loss, had no excuses. He praised Crawford's performance and vowed to come back stronger.
